About the Artist

Hello, my name is David.

 

I'm a Kansas City-based artist, vocalist, father, and transportation driver. My journey with art began with scholarship offers to three different colleges, but I chose a different path, serving in the U.S. Army for four years. Afterward, I set art aside until a moment of inspiration hit me when I saw Bob Ross on TV, rekindling a passion I thought I'd left behind. This was the turning point that brought me back to painting.

Since then, I’ve committed to growing my skills and exploring new techniques, branching out in style and creativity. Although my primary focus is on family and my work as a full-time truck driver, I paint daily—it's not just my passion; it’s my therapy and relaxation.
